Creating Voice Presets
Voice presets are your character voices. Each preset stores a voice, settings, and optional description.
Voice Designer Interface
- Click the Create Voice button
- Browse Available Voices - Use the dropdown menu
- Preview Voices - Select and test with sample text
- Adjust Settings:
- Stability (0.0-1.0): Controls variation
- Similarity Boost (0.0-1.0): Accuracy to original
- Style (0.0-1.0): Expressiveness
- Speaker Boost: Enhances similarity
Recommended Settings
For most characters:
- Stability: 0.5
- Similarity: 0.8
- Style: 0.0 (narrative) or 0.5 (dialogue)
- Speaker Boost: Enabled
Using Voice Transformation
Push-to-Talk Mode
The primary way to use Vox Mimica:
- Find your character card
- Click and hold the microphone button
- Speak your lines
- Release when done
Your transformed voice plays in Discord!
Tips for Best Results
- Speak clearly
- Keep phrases under 10 seconds
- Use different characters for different NPCs
- Practice timing before your session

Troubleshooting
Bot Won't Connect
Solutions:
- Verify bot is in your Discord server
- Check voice channel isn't full
- Try manual connection with IDs
No Audio in Discord

- Verify you're unmuted
- Check browser microphone permissions
- Restart connection
Voice Quality Issues
